jAdis: Prop Shop and Curiosity Cabinet

JAdis is a one-of-a-kind prop shop in Los Angeles. It was founded in 1976 by Susan Lieberman and Parke Meek, who first met while working in the office of the legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames. Parke’s distinctive approach to design led to the creation of science fiction props featured in such movies as Batman & Robin, Waterworld, The Prestige and many more. Since Parke's passing, Susan has continued to operate JAdis as both a prop house and a museum of pre-computer technology. This short documentary explores jAdis’s unique history.
